Effective April 15,2013 The State of Washington now Requires Students who Enroll in a Traffic Safety Education Course Pre-Apply if they don't already have a Washington ID Card or Washington Permit. Once the Application is Complete Bring the ID Number to the Driving School To Have The New E-Waiver Information entered into the System so that you can take your teen to the Licensing office to get their Permit.
If you do not have a permit. Before the written test you must Pre-Apply on line @ DOL Pre-Apply
The State of Washington requires that all persons between the ages of 15 and 17 must attend a Traffic Safety Education
Course before receiving a drivers license. Most high schools in the Vancouver area have dropped Driver's Education because of budget restraints.
There are several commercial driving schools in the local area for you to choose from. We would be honored if you would consider Big John's Driving
School. You will receive a Washington State Department of Licensing approved, quality learning experience. All classes are taught by certified
Department of Licensing instructors, who will treat you like what you are...young adults, not children.
Our goal is to try to make more courteous and safe drivers.
Ask us about the permit waiver.
